This is "Lucky Camper"...another super soft & comfy little number.

No two are alike, all are one of a kind. Kinda fun, right?

Now this little number has stolen my heart!

I had a darling customer call and request a funky, eclectic skirt with an apron.

And so, "Serendipity Surprise" was created!

These colors just make me smile.

And let's face it, we could all smile more, right?

Quick decorating re-do!

I was watching

Good Things Utah this morning

and saw the funnest segment!

New Pillows!

What a great way to spice up my somewhat boring couch!

Now, I have to tell you...

I LOVE to decorate.

And re-decorate.

And decorate.

And re-decorate.

Get me?

However.

The past couple years have been

somewhat consumed by

bugs 'n' bees.

REALLY. REALLY. REALLY consumed.

So, the decorating has gone by the wayside.

SO!

When I saw this fun little how-to this morning,

I thought...

HEY!

I can do that

real quick.

And know what?

I did.

Real quick.

We're talking in less than an hour.

I know, nothing major, but, hey!

Three "new" pillows spice up my cute red couches!

And the best part?

Free!

I have a fabric stash that I actually envy myself.

Of course, anytime I pull out the camera,

the little Princess comes running...

or jumping as the case may be.

Anywho...

I'm in LOVE with this damask.

I'm pretty much a damask fan of any sort,

but, HELLO!

The lime green and blue are just GORGEOUS!

"sloves"...a la My Mama Made It!

I think I'm in love.

Actually, I'm pretty sure.

I discovered a lovely blog.

Beautiful repurposing, my favorite!

Lovely "sloves" my daughter and I made over the Christmas break.

Super duper easy too!

Have an old sweater lying around that you never wear?

You could steal one from your hubby.

Just sayin'.

Cut the arms to your desired length,

cut out a hole for your thumb.

Voila!

Add a couple of buttons for some style,

adorn the edges with some embroidery floss.

Instant style!

I wore mine on New Year's Eve.

Got a few compliments.

Best part is that since finding this lovely blog,

my 14 year old daughter has FINALLY caught the craft.

We've made a lovely chanel cuff, several hair pretties

and of course our sloves.

I got myself all excited to take a bit of a "breather" after the craziness of holiday

shows, boutiques, sales....

Of course, that lasted all of about 3 days until I came across

It's winter, after all.

These little starlings just make me happy.

Oh how I love Alexander Henry.

This yummy chocolate paisley and polka dots makes me want ice cream.

Bad.

This little paisley just makes me happy. Don't you love the stripes?

This lovely lime and hot pink makes me smile.

I called it strawberry limeade.

More yum.
